ROD STEWART

On February 1, 2018, Assago Forum was transformed in a time machine thanks to Rod Stewart concert. During the unique Italian date, the living legend of English rock has indeed paid tribute to his more than a century-long career made of soul, folk and big ballads. Giving support in this tortuous journey there is a talented band of 13 members playing guitars and violins, pianos and keyboards, banjo, harp and sax. Theirs is a show in the show, with several long instrumental interludes covering the star dress changes and pauses. Mod’s aesthetics with black and white squares dominates the stage, which is colored by images flowing on the hanging screens, as a real visual comment to the concert, sometimes didactic and biographical.
